Disability Media Inc. announces the availability of several $250.00 scholarships and several $250 children's camp grants. Any disabled student who is now enrolled or who will be enrolled this year in an institution of higher learning is eligible to apply for the scholarships. Students enrolled in trade schools, technical schools, or business schools are also eligible.
Scholarship applicants should:
- Submit a letter outlining their academic and career goals.
- Include a recent photo.
- Provide us with any other information they would like us to consider.
The children's camp grant is for the purpose of assisting a disabled child to attend a children's camp in the summer. The camp may either be specifically for handicapped children or not.
Children's Camp Grant applicants should
- Submit a brief essay of 100 words or less on why they believe attending camp will be a useful experience for them.
- Include a recent photo.
- Provide us with any other information they would like us to consider.
Include your name, phone number, address, the nature of your disability and the name of the school or camp you plan to attend.
